Nun also (endlich) auch mal ein Artikel von mir, ich habe mich ja bisher was das angeht etwas zurückgehalten, hauptsächlich aufgrund fehlenden Gesprächstoffes.
Ich möchte jetzt einmal etwas über 2-3 Themen schreiben.
UGC-Italy
Letztes Wochenende konnte ich dank ESC auf die UGC Lan in Italien fahren.
Es war mein erstes richtiges Offlineturnier und deshalb eine komplett neue Erfahrung für mich. Zuallererst ist zu sagen, dass es eine sehr nette Location war, und auch sehr toll mal ein paar Leute wiederzutreffen (Hasu, GoOdy, Cloud, Wulverate uvm.).
Es war zwar eine LAN, aber es waren fast nur Profispieler anwesend und es herrschte somit eine eher ruhigere Atmosphäre, was uns Spielern jedoch entgegen kam. Am ersten Tag wurde erstmal ein neuer Mappool ausgearbeitet und so fanden bloß 2 Spiele statt.
Am nächten Tag wurde die Gruppenphase ausgespielt und am darauffolgenden Tag erst die Brackets. Wie ihr merkt, zog sich das ganze ein wenig, auch wenn nur 12 Spieler für SC2 anwesend waren.
Die 12 Teilnehmer wurden dann in 2 Gruppen á 6 Spieler aufgeteilt, von denen jeweils die Top 4 weiterkam.
Aus Gruppe A kamen Hasu, LoZ, Cloud und Wulverate weiter und aus Gruppe B GoOdy, StarEagle, BaFFinO und meine Wenigkeit.
In der ersten Runde des Winnerbrackets durfte ich gegen HasuObs ran und dies auch auf der Gamingstage der Location. Wie oben erwähnt war dies mein erstes Offlineturnier und ich hatte somit wenig Erfahrung mit solchen Situationen. Allein das Spielen auf der Bühne war sehr ungewohnt. Aber dann hörte ich auch fast 100% vom Cast, da TotalBiscuit eine recht laute Stimme hat und ich das irgendwie nicht richtig ausblenden konnte. Zusätzlich lief auch immer ein Staffie mit Videokamera herum^^. Somit waren die Spiele gegen HasuObs von meiner Seite aus ziemlich unterirdisch und ich verlor (nicht nur deswegen) mit 0-2.
Ich entschied mich jedoch die restliche Zeit auf dem Event nur noch auf der Bühne zu spielen um zusätzliche Erfahrungen damit sammeln zu können. So schlug ich mich mit Siegen über BaFFinO und Wulverate ins Loserbracket-Finale, in dem ich am nächsten Tag erneut auf HasuObs traf.
Diesmal hörte ich einen Radiostream und die SC2-Sounds auf 100% um den Cast überhören zu können. Für das nächste Event werde ich mir jedoch InEar-Kopfhörer zulegen (Empfehlungen gerne in den Comments 
).
Die Spiele waren diesmal um einiges besser als am Vortag und durchaus spannend.
Spiel 1 startete auf XelNaga, Hasu eröffnete mit 2Gate Stargate into Expansion, woran ich nicht viel Schaden nahm und das Game entwickelte sich in ein Macro-Spiel. Ich schaffe es dann irgendwann seine Goldexpansion einzureissen und stand schon fast in seiner Base, als meine komplette Army von DTs aufgerieben wurde. Ich hatte TotalBiscuit wieder etwas schreien gehört, was mich total rausbrachte und ich dies somit garnicht mitbekam. Hasu kam ins Spiel zurück und schaffte es noch zu gewinnen.
In der Pause nach dem Spiel kam dApollo kurz zu mir und hörte sich das ganze auch mit meinen Kopfhörern an und versprach dass TotalBiscuit mehr darauf achten würde (oder so). Und ich hatte in den Spielen danach auch keine Probleme mehr damit.
Spiel 2 startete auf Shattered Temple und ich spielte 7Pool (weil ich dachte er würde nicht damit rechnen, da ich davor ein sehr gutes Macrogame abgeliefert hatte). Er spawnte jedoch Crossposition und ich konnte quasi keinen Schaden anrichten (das Gateway überlebte mit 18 HP) und ich hörte Hasu kurz auflachen auf der Bühne^^. Er spielte dann einen 3Gate Voidraypush, der irgendwie verpuffte und ich konnte ihn zum Nexuscancel forcen (wie sich herausstellte starb der Nexus sogar). Das Spiel entwickelte sich erneut zum Macrogame und ich konnte witzigerweise noch gewinnen und Hasu verließ mit “lol gg^^” das Spiel.
Für Spiel 3 auf Taldarim hatte ich mir vorher schon eine Strategie überlegt und zwar ein 10Pool + 2x Extractortrick, da man damit gut Druck auf die meistgespielte Strategie auf Taldarim (Forge Exp) ausüben kann und auch eine gute Economy hat. Hasu rechnete wohl damit und spielte keine Forge Exp. Jedoch entwickelte sich das Ganze auch wieder zu einem längeren Spiel, in dem ich sogar vorne war. Als ich gerade meine Broodlords morphte sah ich es kurz schimmern und wusste dass ein Observer die ganze Zeit über meine Army stand. Sofort war Hasus Attack getriggered und er blinkte sich zu meiner Army und wir tradeten fast 1:1 Armies ab. Es war also immer noch recht ausgeglichen, aber er schaffte es mit einer Handvoll Zealots meine 5te Base einzureissen und es war somit 4Base vs 4Base und ich musste alles in einen letzten Angriff setzen, welchen Hasu mit High Templarn abwehrte. Somit gewann Hasu verdient mit 2-1 und gewann letztlich auch das ganze Turnier.
Für mich muss ich feststellen, dass es eine echt wertvolle Reise war, endlich mal Offline-Erfahrung zu sammeln und echt korrekte Leute kennenzulernen. Für das nächste Mal werde ich mir wie erwähnt InEars zulegen, damit ich keine Soundprobleme mehr haben werde.

4Players 2on2 Cup
Heute konnten kAra und ich (wir spielen auch 2on2 fürs Germany-A Team) auch endlich einmal den 4Players 2on2 Cup gewinnen, nachdem wir schon 1-2 Mal gegen Empire im Finale verloren. Wir spielten heute im Finale gegen das amerikanische 2on2 Team von FXOpen und konnten souverän mit 2-0 gewinnen. Kara ist zwar im 1on1 Protoss, aber im 2on2 spielen wir mitlerweile eine TZ Kombo.
Dies liegt einfach daran, dass wir mit PZ feststellen mussten dass man gegen richtig starke TZ Teams nicht gewinnen kann.
Man spielt als Terra+Zerg eine Hellion (später mit Blueflame) und Ling Kombination und kann damit mit gutem Micro und Geduld fast jede Ground-Army auseinandernehmen.
Mitlerweile lachen wir immer wenn wir in der Ladder oder Turnieren gegen ZP Teams spielen, weil wir aus Erfahrung wissen, wie bitter es ist gegen gute TZ Teams zu spielen.
Es ist jedoch sicherlich schade, dass manche Kombos im 2on2 einfach nicht spielbar sind auf hohem Niveau, aber Blizzard hat ja schon öfters widerholt dass sie nicht nur auf 1×1 patchen, aber es wird sicher schwer sein, etwas gerechtes aus PZ vs TZ zu machen ohne die 1×1 Balance zu breaken.

EPS Playoffs
Heute wurden die Partien für die EPS Playoffs ausgelost.
Es wurde zufällig ausgelost, wobei jedoch nur #1 vs #2 – Spiele ausgelost wurden.
So müssen in der oberen Gridhälfte Socke vs TLO und ClouD vs mich spielen und in der untern Hälfte das WC3-Duell XlorD vs miou und HasuObs vs kAra.
Die obere Hälfte dürfte hierbei wohl etwas stärker besetzt sein.
Zwei Viertelfinalpartien werden wohl auf dem IFNG in Berlin gezeigt und das Voting läuft auch schon.

Meine Partie gegen Cloud wird sicherlich nicht einfach und ClouD ist auch klarer Favorit, aber ich habe auch schon gegen Socke gezeigt, dass ich mit guter Vorbereitung und etwas Glück auch gegen die ganz starken Deutschen nicht chancenlos bin und hoffe auf jeden fall nicht unterzugehen^^.
